    Airbender Client

    The Airbender Client, in conjunction with the Airbender Dashboard, provides a comprehensive logging and control system for various AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and the Vercel AI SDK. It offers functionality for logging interactions, handling feedback, and dynamic model control.

    Works in tandem with the Airbender Dashboard

    the Airbender Client simplifies integration between LLM(s) and the Airbender Dashboard.

    Visit the Client Overview to see how it works.

    Install the Airbender Client and one or more AI Providers in your app: this example installs the Anthropic Plugin, see the next section Airbender Plugins for details.

    for the latest Supported features, see the Airbender RoadMap.

    npm

    npm install @airbend3r/client @airbend3r/anthropic --save

    To test local changes to the Airbender client or any of the plugins, you'll need to link the client in your package.json following the best practices for your framework.

    If your using NextJS with Webpack, you can follow the example below to alias the NPM Package(s) to your local Client. Change PATH_TO_AIRBENDER to the relative path from this file to the Airbender Client.

    ./next.config.js :

    const nextConfig = {
    ..., // existing configuration here:
    webpack: (config) => {
    config.resolve.alias['@airbend3r/client'] = path.resolve(
    'PATH_TO_AIRBENDER/libs/airbender/client/src/index.ts'
    );
    config.resolve.alias['@airbend3r/anthropic'] = path.resolve(
    'PATH_TO_AIRBENDER/libs/airbender/anthropic/src/index.ts'
    );
    return config;
    },
    }

    Note: You will need to add API Keys to your .env file for each AI Provider.

    When setting up the client, you'll need to point the client to an Airbender Dashboard and have a valid Product Key:

    • Create a new Product at Airbender.io or use your own Airbender Dashboard.

    • Once created, you will find your ProductKey under the Product name, and on main page for your Product: Alt text

    • The location of your Airbender Dashboard api

      • This can be found in the Dashboard under Account Settings

    Alt text

    • AI SDK API Keys for each of the AI SDK Providers you implement. Each Provider will have it's unique ENV Key and Value you can obtain from this page.
    # .env
    # Client
    AIRBENDER_API_BASE_URL="http://localhost:4200/api/v1"
    `key name from Provider`=`paste your key here`

    The Airbender client is now installed, check out Getting Started to learn how to use Airbender.
